The Simpsons: Hit & Run — a possible comeback

The cult classic The Simpsons: Hit & Run could be making a comeback more than 20 years after its original release.

During D23, The Simpsons creator Matt Groening unexpectedly let slip that the original game was “coming back in some form.” Showrunner Matt Selman immediately tried to walk the comment back, adding: “…or not.”

What exactly they might be working on remains a mystery. It could be a straightforward port to modern platforms, a remaster, or something much more ambitious.

Either way, just the thought of getting to return to good old Springfield again feels pretty damn good.
